I was inspired by my best friend to fly home from Nashville and give my downstairs bathroom a total makeover!
I’m dyingggggg…..Mostly because I wish I had taken a total “before” shot, but I forgot about that when I started painting the cabinet.
This is your typical 1980’s bathroom….old paint, the chestnut natural wood, etc. But that’s not how us millenials like things these days so I went on a hunt to find the cheapest stuff in my decor style. First stop…Lowe’s!
I found the paint as a sample paint in the Lowe’s clearance section for $1.25, sanded, painted, prayed that I’d like the color, and YES, of course I did!
The shelf on top of the toilet, and some of the decor I bought at Target. The rest of the things on there I bought at HomeSense, like the gold toilet paper holder and mirror. (Everything was under $60 I’d say). The mirror was $59.99 (score, because everything else that size was $99.99!)
Then I painted the walls white with some old paint I already had and some old brushes I already had!
Total investment was about $130
What do you think? What’s the next project going to be?
