Our Little Recording Story
Rob and I met three years ago and started writing songs together. We began singing those songs out at shows and people started really responding to them, and they even started requesting them! It made us feel pretty cool, so we decided that we had to go into the recording studio and record as many as we could.
Then began the saving process. We saved up every penny we made at our merchandise table for an entire summer, and booked two plane tickets out to Portland, Oregon to record the songs with a fantastic producer named Gus Berry at Jackpot! Recording Studio.
We chose these six songs because we felt like they represented us both as songwriters and singers, but because they were ones that we had written together. As solo artists we have written dozens and dozens of songs with other people, but these are special because we got to write them with each other.
